Website flipping is buying or building a website, developing it and then selling (flipping) it for a profit.

There are two major websites which have been set up to make it easier for you to flip a website...

There are three main ways you can make money online by website flipping:

Website Flipping - Method #1

Do some research and see what kind of websites are selling well and how someone can make easy money of a website.

Here are a few ideas:

* Any Facebook based service

* Adsense revenue

* Sale of affiliate products or especially made products

* Websites selling published books or kindle books,

* Membership sites

* Article sites

* Blogs with many articles

Once You've Chosen What Kind Of Website You Want To Flip...

Now purchase a suitable domain name and build your website and associated products.

You should then run your website for several months...

Marketing it strongly to obtain good visitors and hopefully some sales.

Websites with existing traffic and sales always make more money that "empty" websites.

Now your website is ready for flipping.

Website Flipping - Method #2

Do some research and identify a website that is doing fairly well but can be improved further.

• Make the owner of the website an offer to purchase it.

OR...

• Alternatively purchase a website at one of the above flipping sites that has a good history but has not reached its potential price.

You should now spend some time developing the website further with added visitors and sales until the site is ready for resale.

Website Flipping - Method #3

This method will not net you anywhere as near as much profit as the other two but it is much quicker.

Some sellers set up a template/s for one or more websites and then add a different domain name to each.

Thus you are effectively selling the same website with a slightly different design.  

This kind of sale will only attract the newbie or unwary and may make you unpopular.

However it is an option used by many.  

ADVICE: If you do not wish to fall into the trap of buying such a site it is best to do your research first.

Website Flipping - Conclusion

As you can see flipping websites can take a bit of time and effort in marketing a website before you flip it for money.  

However, once you've done it a few times, you'll be able to do this quickly and efficiently and you will soon be making great money website flipping.
